7 Tips for Keeping Passwords

Posted by Dita Annisa Putri | Kamis, 25 November 2010 | Category: | 0 komentar

Passwords are secret codes that must be protected. Many negative things can happen when your password leak into the hands of others. Learn 7 tips to keep it brief.

1. Not Using Default Password

The default password is the password that we can be the first time. This default password should indeed be quickly replaced because of very vulnerable. The reason, the default password can be easily searched on google search, even there are listed the name of a machine, type and default password with a magnificent plastered on some website creators vendors.
Sometimes administrators fear of forgetting to change-change the default password, so that an intruder can take over the system with default passwords.

2. Not Using Password Hint
Sometimes we are afraid to forget the password that was our entry into the system / account, so we need to create a reminder if we forget the password. Now this is called password reminder Hint, if we create a password hint question with this then we can quickly recall these forgotten passwords.
Likewise with the hackers, they'll experiment with us to guess the password in the password hint questions, over time the password will be predictable, if the questions listed in the password hint can be answered by the penebak password.

3. Writing No Password
Owners are often afraid to forget your password with the password has been entered, so the owner would write different passwords user id and password into other media such as a notebook, notepad, Stickies (mac), password folders, books, mobile phones and other.
It is also quite vulnerable to leaking. Why vulnerable? Because when a variety of equipment is lost, then all information about a user id and password are sooner or later will be known by the thief equipments / gadgets are missing.

4. Using a Strong Password
Owner passwords often using a short password only, if it could be shorter than 3 characters then the user will give a short password. Fortunately this time the system provides a minimum password length of 6 characters and a maximum of 254 characters. The longer a password the stronger it will be the password security.
Strong passwords can be created with a combination of numbers and letters and even a variety of other characters. Some admins are currently using a password that is long enough, coupled with encryption such as PGP key and others, so it is quite difficult to guess password.
5. Frequent Change Password
Owners should periodically change your password for authentication password, the more frequent password changes, the better, because the more difficult the penebak password hacking account / your system. Changes to the password depends on the owner, could be a week, a month, three months, and others. Originally the owner does not forget the password that was changed earlier.
6. Not Wearing The Same Password on Multiple Accounts
Owners often forget and sometimes passwords frequently enough to create an account, so they each create a new account using the same user id and password are the same, this is very vulnerable and dangerous. Because these passwords through a single account, all accounts will be taken by the hacker.
7. Using Password Management
To help recall the various passwords and various accounts, we are often very difficult, but not to worry because it has many current applications to help organize our passwords. This application can be downloaded for free from the internet and paid, so that regardless of our account and whatever we can with the password easy to remember and re-opened, of course, to open it with an encryption method as well.

Nokia N8 vs iPhone 4G

Who does not know the Iphone and Nokia, both of which are brand names that continue to compete in seizing the high-end smartphone market. Almost at the same time Apple released the iPhone 4G while Nokia released a new mobile phone is the Nokia N8. Both represent the latest smart phone with features - advanced features.

Starting from a model that carried both of them do not provide nearly the same QWERTY keyboard, access to the phone directly through the display screen which are both capacitive touchscreen technology to adapt the means to access the screen enough with our fingers. But for the quality of the Nokia screen sharpness using AMOLED technology used by Samsung smart phone, but the iPhone screen using a technology that is claimed for the current best known by experts as a technology IPhone "Retina Display". Viewing the embedded camera also has a difference if the Nokia N8 has a camera with Carl Zeiss lens with a resolution of 12 megapixel camera on the iPhone 4G while having only a 5-megapixel resolution, but for the quality of images produced both good but difficult to distinguish clearly to users of the Nokia N8 can print image with a larger size without fear for blurry because the camera has a resolution greater than the iPhone 4G. For quality video record both phones are the same - the same support quality high definition (HD), the best video recording quality for a GSM cell phone today.

As for the hardware used by the CPU iPhone 4G dibesut of Apple's powerful 1 GHz SoC A4 and up to 512 Mb RAM memory so the speed and multitasking support is clearly more than the Nokia N8 which only has a 680 Mhz ARM CPU 256 Mb RAM memory following. Although the Nokia claims that the Nokia N8 very fast, but apply the rule that the greater the ability of the processor, of course, the faster the performance of the mobile phone. Speaking of smart phones can not be separated from its Internet network connection capability, the Nokia N8 already supports 3G high-speed internet networks - up to 10.2 Mbps HSDPA while for the iPhone 4G also supports 3G networks - HSDPA which only has the ability to download data 7.2 Mbps, although for now there has been existing operators in Indonesia are able to provide the network with a speed of 10.2 Mbps for the future but obviously Nokia N8 more optimal in this regard. And for the browser Nokia N8 been able to display flash animation and YouTube video with a good while for the iPhone 4G has a browser can not display YouTube videos that much-loved by the netters. Apart from some such comparison, respectively - each have their own fans. But for the moment obviously the iPhone has more fans. It is characterized by the 4G iPhone sales figures up to millions at the opening of the then compare it with Nokia products that have not been as high as iPhone sales exceeded, we wait N8 sales figures are expected to slide this year's third quarter.

iPhone 4G

The launch of Apple's latest device is the most anticipated this summer, officially announced the iPhone 4G ultimately Steve Jobs - as the main speaker - at WWDC 2010, June 7 yesterday. New features more bite revealed in the event.

Not only the features, design view 4G generation is also completely new and unique when compared with the first version of the iPhone, iPhone 3G and 3G. Could be iPhone 4G is thinnest ever. Wrapping layer also uses stainless steel plus scratch-resistant glass and crystal clear screen to produce a maximum optical quality.

As expected, these devices have a front camera for video chat using iChat service. What are the details of the specification that carried the iPhone 4G?

iPhone 4G has a 3.5 inch screen retina, a resolution of 960 x 640 pixels, that means four times sharper than the nearest predecessor. Thus, these devices are capable of producing up to 326 pixels display sharpness in every single inch screen. The contrast ratio was quite ciamik, 800:1, and do not miss the IP technology to color with high quality and wide-angle view.

Steve also meet the expectations of the iPhone loyalists by implanting 5 mega pixel camera with digital zoom capability up to 5 times. As a core performance, using the processor A4 iPhone 4G. The speed is obviously much higher and can not be compared with the previous iPhone.

Not to leave it at that, Apple also boosted battery life. Battery life was unsparing, 7 hours to speak with a 3G connection, 6 hours when surfing with 3G service and 300 hours in standby condition!

It's just not as expected the capacity of many people - in which some loyalists and technology site speculated, the iPhone will come out with up to 80GB of memory. Like its predecessor replenish Apple 4G version with a maximum capacity of 32 GB.

But the good news, Apple is giving a bonus for connectivity. 4G iPhone is a quad (four) band, HSDPA / HSUPA with dual microphones and wireless connection features, 802.11n Wi-Fi.

The shock still has not stopped. Another cool feature of the iPhone 4G is the Gyro-accelerometer, motion sensor delivering six corners, wow!

4G iPhone can also record HD quality video 720 pixels at 30 frames per second. You simply just click, point to get a clear focus to get good video and to alter the problem, not to worry, the iPhone has the ability to edit video

iMovie is now also available on all iPhones, including older versions. Simply update your OS to IOS 4. But, not all the features in iMovie can function in the old iPhone. For those interested in the iPhone operating system update tools, eliminate Apple's latest OS to be released on 21 June.

Back again to the specifications of the iPhone 4G, devices that have multi-tasking capabilities with the addition of other features. Such as 3G, 4G iPhone also comes with two colors, black and white.

About the price, do not miss Steve announces official iPhone 3G. For capacity of 16 GB model is set 199 dollars or about Rp2 million and 299 dollars, or around Rp 3 million for the 32 GB model. Of course that price does not include operator services, not to mention if the operator - such as in Indonesia - monopolize the sale of the version locked.

With Kinect controller, hackers take liberties

Posted by Dita Annisa Putri | | Category: | 0 komentar

When Oliver Kreylos, a computer scientist, heard about the capabilities of Microsoft’s new Kinect gaming device, he couldn’t wait to get his hands on it. “I dropped everything, rode my bike to the closest game store and bought one,” he said.

Philipp Robbel combined an iRobot device and the new Microsoft controller that can recognize gestures. He calls it the KinectBot.

Theo Watson and Emily Gobeille created a puppet show using a Kinect.

Mehmet S. Akten uses the system to draw in 3-D.

But he had no interest in playing video games with the Kinect, which is meant to be plugged into an Xbox and allows players to control the action onscreen by moving their bodies.

Mr. Kreylos, who specializes in virtual reality and 3-D graphics, had just learned that he could download some software and use the device with his computer instead. He was soon using it to create “holographic” video images that can be rotated on a computer screen. A video he postedon YouTubelast week caused jaws to drop and has been watched 1.3 million times.

Mr. Kreylos is part of a crowd of programmers, roboticists and tinkerers who are getting the Kinect to do things it was not really meant to do. The attraction of the device is that it is outfitted with cameras, sensors and software that let it detect movement, depth, and the shape and position of the human body.

Companies respond to this kind of experimentation with their products in different ways — and Microsoft has had two very different responses since the Kinect was released on Nov. 4. It initially made vague threats about working with law enforcement to stop “product tampering.” But by last week, it was embracing the benevolent hackers.

New York Times

Theo Watson and Emily Gobeille created a puppet show using a Kinect.

“Anytime there is engagement and excitement around our technology, we see that as a good thing,” said Craig Davidson, senior director for Xbox Live at Microsoft. “It’s naïve to think that any new technology that comes out won’t have a group that tinkers with it.”

Microsoft and other companies would be wise to keep an eye on this kind of outside innovation and consider wrapping some of the creative advances into future products, said Loren Johnson, an analyst at Frost & Sullivan who follows digital media and consumer electronics.

“These adaptations could be a great benefit to their own bottom line,” he said. “It’s a trend that is undeniable, using public resources to improve on products, whether it be the Kinect or anything else.”

Microsoft invested hundreds of millions of dollarsin Kinect in the hopes of wooing a broader audience of gamers, like those who enjoy using the motion-based controllers of the Nintendo Wii.

Word of the technical sophistication and low price of the device spread quickly in tech circles.

Building a device with the Kinect’s capabilities would require “thousands of dollars, multiple Ph.D.’s and dozens of months,” said Limor Fried, an engineer and founder of Adafruit Industries

, a store in New York that sells supplies for experimental hardware projects. “You can just buy this at any game store for $150.”

On the day the Kinect went on sale, Ms. Fried and Phillip Torrone, a designer and senior editor of Make magazine, which features do-it-yourself technology projects, announced a $3,000 cash bounty for anyone who created and released free software allowing the Kinect to be used with a computer instead of an Xbox.

Microsoft quickly gave the contest a thumbs-down. In an interviewwith CNet News, a company representative said that it did not “condone the modification of its products” and that it would “work closely with law enforcement and product safety groups to keep Kinect tamper-resistant.”

That is not much different from the approach taken by Apple, which has released software upgrades for its iPhoneoperating system in an effort to block any unsanctioned hacks or software running on its devices.

But other companies whose products have been popular targets for tinkering have actively encouraged it. One example is iRobot, the company that makes the Roomba, a small robotic vacuum cleaner. That product was so popular with robotics enthusiasts that the company began selling the iRobot Create, a programmable machine with no dusting capabilities.

Mr. Davidson said Microsoft now had no concerns about the Kinect-hacking fan club, but he said the company would be monitoring developments. A modification that compromises the Xbox system, violates the company’s terms of service or “degrades the experience for everyone is not something we want,” he said

.

Bryce Vickmark for The New York Times

Philipp Robbel combined an iRobot device and the new Microsoft controller that can recognize gestures. He calls it the KinectBot.

Other creative uses of the Kinect involve drawing 3-D doodles in the airand then rotating them with a nudge of the hand, and manipulating colorful animated puppets on a computer screen. Most, if not all, of the prototypes were built using the open-source code released as a result of the contest sponsored by Ms. Fried and Mr. Torrone, which was won by Hector Martin, a 20-year-old engineering student in Spain.

The KinectBot, cobbled together in a weekend by Philipp Robbel, a Ph.D. candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, combines the Kinect and an iRobot Create. It uses the Kinect’s sensors to detect humans, respond to gesture and voice commands, and generate 3-D maps of what it is seeing as it rolls through a room.

Mr. Robbel said the KinectBot offered a small glimpse into the future of machines that could aid in the search for survivors after a natural disaster.

“This is only the tip of the iceberg,” he said of the wave of Kinect experimentation. “We are going to see an exponential number of videos and tests over the coming weeks and months as more people get their hands on this device.”

Toying around with the Kinect could go beyond being a weekend hobby. It could potentially lead to a job. In late 2007, Johnny Lee, then a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon, was so taken by the Wii that he rigged a system that would allow it to track his head movements and adjust the screen perspective accordingly.

cellular phone is undoubtedly probably the most happening gadget from the 21st century. if your ancient man could not live without foodstuff, without air plus without water, modern man cannot visualize living without a cell phone.

Cellular Phone are some sort of priority, even when you are in a meeting with the unit off. Basically we are generally so accustomed to the employment of cell phones that they have become part among us. But we ponder, what makes these so important, almost just like a basic necessity, especially because 30 to 25 prohibited the concept of mobile phones was not perhaps there?

The resolution is simple. The luxury spoiled all of us. And do not necessarily forget the large brands that never leave us beyond our habit as well as instead makes us more longing for the latest emits with new attributes. With the price falling along with the need to stay in connected becoming increasingly important for that present generation hand held phones have become a lifestyle. Now almost noone cares if the quantity of depreciation is over 50% per year of utilize, or if his phone is lost every once in awhile.

Buying a cellular phone is now always easy, that is, if you know exactly what you choose. However, it is suggested that you just buy cell mobile phones manufactured by reputed brands that may provide you good service after revenue, preferably from official dealers.

The purchase of cell phones through internet sites isn’t a bad notion, though in several cases, you have to be extremely careful. Duplicate cell phones have always been a problem, and that which is worse is receiving a cell phone which was repositioned or replaced with all the duplicate. A new cellular phone with an previous battery is one of these.

Initially, the cell smartphone were developed only towards army and the must be in contact with one another was a concern. Cell phones initially were large larger and quality of voice has not been very good and there have been no additional assets.

However, in many years after they became also great for the armed forces worldwide and the technological innovation developed and enhanced, new satellite network cellular phone companies began that will emerge to adjust the scenario of the times. In less than two years cellphones replacing land line telephone, and were becoming important operating houses, and anyone who could afford was looking to purchase one. A few years after cell phones not anymore just a luxury including a necessity of business houses as well as the military, they were the main devices, probably popular than the laptop.

Today cell phones are much smaller in size and have the many features one could consider having an electronic device. With that rapid advance of technology, you can now have the best of old cameras and video saving devices. And as if that has been not enough there are reached the I-pod also.

The Bluetooth along with infrared options can be a dream for individuals who like to retain changing and modernizing their phones, while services linked to the Internet may be the greatest boon to computer addicts. Businessmen now cannot think of a phone that would not allow them to work with MS-Word and shine in life, and additional memory cards can be seen in dozens where there exists any human habitation. Cell phones are certainly one of the biggest inventions of the time.

BIOTECHNOLOGY

Posted by Dita Annisa Putri | | Category: | 0 komentar

Biotechnology in one form or another has flourished since prehistoric times. When the first human beings realized that they could plant their own crops and breed their own animals, they learned to use biotechnology. The discovery that fruit juices fermented into wine, or that milk could be converted into cheese or yogurt, or that beer could be made by fermenting solutions of malt and hops began the study of biotechnology. When the first bakers found that they could make a soft, spongy bread rather than a firm, thin cracker, they were acting as fledgling biotechnologists. The first animal breeders, realizing that different physical traits could be either magnified or lost by mating appropriate pairs of animals, engaged in the manipulations of biotechnology.

What then is biotechnology? The term brings to mind many different things. Some think of developing new types of animals. Others dream of almost unlimited sources of human therapeutic drugs. Still others envision the possibility of growing crops that are more nutritious and naturally pest-resistant to feed a rapidly growing world population. This question elicits almost as many first-thought responses as there are people to whom the question can be posed.

In its purest form, the term "biotechnology" refers to the use of living organisms or their products to modify human health and the human environment. Prehistoric biotechnologists did this as they used yeast cells to raise bread dough and to ferment alcoholic beverages, and bacterial cells to make cheeses and yogurts and as they bred their strong, productive animals to make even stronger and more productive offspring.

Throughout human history, we have learned a great deal about the different organisms that our ancestors used so effectively. The marked increase in our understanding of these organisms and their cell products gains us the ability to control the many functions of various cells and organisms. Using the techniques of gene splicing and technology, we can now actually combine the genetic elements of two or more living cells. Functioning lengths of DNA can be taken from one organism and placed into the cells of another organism. As a result, for example, we can cause bacterial cells to produce human molecules. Cows can produce more milk for the same amount of feed. And we can synthesize therapeutic molecules that have never before existed.

hallo guys, long time nggak pernah corat coret di blog gue ini hmm kira2 udah berapa bulan yaaaa gak pernah update? hehehehe setelah lama menghilang dari peredaran blogger akhirnya gue menyempatkan waktu untuk kembali eksis di blogger nih hihi :D
hmmm tapi gue juga bingung mau cerita tentang apa, sedangkan kalo mau kasih informasi gue juga bingung mau kasih informasi apa -,-" apa curhat aja kali yaaaa? eh jangan deh, mending gue mau kasih sedikit pendapat gue tentang...........hmmmm tentang CINTA lagi nih wkwkwkwk

apabila lo ditanya, bagaimana sih mencintai seseorang yg sebenernya? kira2 apa hayooo jawaban kalian????? KOMEN2 yaaaaa!
ternyata justru kekurangan dia itulah yg membuat gue semakin tertarik sama dia.

with love
